Hey Y'all!
My name is Kristen, though I go by Krissi often. I am happily married to a wonderful husband who is a United States Air Force Veteran. We have two beautiful little girls; Abigail (Abby) who is 6 years old, and Adalynn (Addy) who is turning 3 in October. We currently reside in Lincoln, CA (A small city outside of Sacramento).
I honestly had never heard of Pampered Chef until recent years, though my friend Teri was the one who actually introduced me to the awesome products. I was completely skeptical about the products at first, but decided I could help my friend out by hosting a party for her. I earned some phenomenal discounts on some awesome products!
Most notably, I got the Deep Covered Baker from hosting that show...and a few other really neat things. I still remember when my box of goodies arrived! I unpacked everything and started inspecting them. Life got a hold of me though, and I got super busy and back to my normal routine...forgetting all about my beautiful Deep Covered Baker. Then, as fate would have it, one night (after a crazy busy day) we wanted something quick and easy for dinner. Then a light went off above my head.
I remembered my Deep Covered Baker and the nice ecookbook that my friend had sent...."Here goes nothing" I thought to myself as I searched the recipes in the cookbook. I would be lying if I said my mouth was not watering at all those tasty recipes! I decided on a simple chicken and rice recipe, though was completely skeptical that a box of rice-a-roni, some chicken breasts and water in the microwave would taste good at all (much less be cooked thoroughly!). We decided to chance it...we were starving and the night was just growing older.
Let me tell you, that was the best tasting "microwave" dinner we have ever eaten in our life! It tasted just like my Grandma's old chicken and rice recipe - which mind you I can never get right! My husband and I were both impressed, and it was a kid friendly dish to. I couldn't believe that this yummy dinner was created in less than 30 minutes - in the MICROWAVE!
I then started considering being a consultant with Pampered Chef, I mean these products are no joke! Coming from a German/Italian family, I absolutely love to cook...and most of my life is spent in my kitchen coming up with new, yummy recipes. What is a more perfect career field for somebody like me?!
I went back to my friend Teri, who immediately got on board to help me sign up...a few minutes later, I was officially a Pampered Chef Consultant!
